What Is Water Electrolyzer ?

Water electrolyzer is also known as a solid precipitate promoting instrument.

It was approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA),use to identify and detect water quality, according to different colors , 

we can easily distinguish water quality.

Water electrolyzer is used to compare different water quality - the difference between pure water, mineral water and ordinary water. 

It is not the ultimate water quality testing equipment.

 How To Use It ?

1,  Preparing test water

Take two transparent glasses which are 1000 to 1500 ML by side. One contains ordinary water (milk or tap water), and the other contains mineral water or purified water (e.g., purified water or distilled water).

2,  Preparing test

Put one electrolyzer end into a glass which contains tap water, and the other end into pure water. Then connect the power supply.

3,  Test water

Turn on the switch button and start testing.

Test time is usually 1-5 minutes. Turn off the switch button and disconnect the power supply when it is finished.

The Principle

An electrical power source is connected to two electrodes, or two plates (typically iron bar is anode and aluminum bar is cathode) which are placed in the water. 

When the power is on, positive ions will appear at the cathode (the negatively charged electrode - iron bar) where electrons enter the water, and react to produce water-insoluble group with negative electrolyte, colloid, organics or inorganics. 

Because of the current, original metal particles dissolved in water, such as lead, arsenic, chromium, manganese, potassium, cobalt, etc. are electrolyzed out and gradually gather into metal group.

We distinguish different metals based on the color, for different metal ions show different colors. Here is the color and chemicals comparison chart below:
